“Valkyrie” 1947 – 24′ Viking Sloop

Painted cedar planking on steam-bent white oak ribs. Varnished oak trim & hatch. Varnished Sitka spruce mast & boom. T&G pine decks with epoxy & paint overtop. Cast iron keel. Vessel comes complete with 3 sails – all in serviceable condition, mainsail cover, the original 4 cylinder Buchanan Midget inboard engine, 2 – 12 volt batteries, bilge pump, anchor, fenders, lines & a steel cradle. “Valkyrie” is in useable condition but requires restoration & refinishing work to bring her back to excellent overall condition. She will require planking & rib repairs, forward deck overhaul, cockpit trim repairs, engine repairs & refinishing to new owner’s level of expectations. Her spars are in very good overall condition.
