Keystone – 1960 – 34′ Colin Archer Double – Ended Cruising Sloop
Mahogany planking on sawn white oak frames. Marine plywood decks with epoxy overtop. Varnished Sitka spruce spars, good rigging and three sails (main, jib and genoa). Vessel is powered by a 3 cylinder Yanmar diesel. Her length overall, including bowsprit and boomkin is 41′.
In 2008 Woodwind Yachts began the required restoration work to “Keystone”. The old cockpit was completely removed. The Yanmar inboard was removed, serviced and re-installed. Several frames, the stem, sternpost and some planks were repaired. The decks were repaired as necessary, then epoxy and cloth was applied overtop. The bulkheads and cabinsides were repaired, then overlaid with mahogany (to be varnished). The new cockpit sole framework has been built and installed.
Then, due to unfortunate circumstances, the work at Woodwind Yachts had to cease with the project approximately half way completed. We then covered the vessel with her fitted tarp and moved her outside in our yard.
We would be pleased to complete the project on this sturdy seaworthy craft for a new owner, or she can be sold as-is and taken somewhere else for the remaining work. She is offered for sale for far less than half of what is invested into her.
Reduced to $4,800.00 O.B.O.
