1946 - 15' Lakefield "MOHAWK" | |

Varnished cedar planking on steam-bent white oak frames. No motor or trailer. This once lovely, very rare runabout requires major restoration including all new ribs, new stem, keel, transom, coamings, rubrails, splashrails, seats and floorboards, and a complete refinishing inside and out. The decks are repairable, but will need to be removed for re-ribbing and refinishing work.
This is potentially an award winning vessel, and we wish to perform the restoration and refinishing work here at Woodwind Yachts. |

This "Mohawk" could one day shine like her smaller sistership below.
One of the beautifully restored "Lakefield" double-cockpit cedarstrip runabouts Woodwind Yachts had on display at the January 2003, Toronto International Boat Show, which attracted tons of attention and admiration. This is a very similar vessel, although slightly smaller at only 13' in length. |
