Ken Lavalette: Owner/operator, master craftsman and master finisher. Ken has almost 30 years experience in wooden boat restoration and refinishing. His main area of expertise lies in the small to medium sized classic sailing craft and runabouts. Ken truly has an undying love for vintage wooden watercraft, which is clearly reflected in his attention to detail.

Stanley Kent Allanson: Master craftsman, boat builder, and master finisher. Stanley has accumulated nearly 25 years experience in wooden boat building and restoration, both with powerboats and sail. He has been employed with Woodwind Yachts for almost 15 years now, and following a few years away, has now re-joined our crew. Combined with his knowledge and exacting standards, he brings a positive and cheerful attitude to work each day.

Luke Morgan : Master craftsman, boatbuilder and finisher. Prior to his employment here, Luke was building and installing elaborate wooden interiors in 34' to 44' luxury yachts. Luke is a quiet, conscientious, detail oriented woodworker and finisher. He is a valuable member of our crew who is very pleasant to work with.

Steve Kitchen : Excellent craftsman. Steve's original woodworking training was in cabinet making and furniture building. He was employed at Woodwind Yachts for several years, left to pursue cabinet design and building, and has fortunately returned to us favoring the challenge of wooden boat restoration. Steve is very detail oriented, and brings positive energy along with his sharp sense of humour to work each and every day. Welcome back Steve!

He is an experienced boater and his undying love for classic wooden craft clearly shows in his work. Tony's knowledge of motors, wiring and systems installations is valuable here.

Connie Marion: Administrative assistant. Connie is extremely knowledgeable, efficient and capable of handling all office duties associated with running a small business. She and her husband have successfully run their own small business for over 30 years. She has been with us, 3 days a week, for over 6 years, and goes about her work with a positive, cheerful attitude.

Bill Gonder : Craftsman. After several years away, Bill has rejoined the crew at Woodwind Yachts. He is a personable, reliable, conscientious individual who has an obvious love for old wooden boats.
